When it comes to the world of tattoos, conventions are often the best way for an artist to showcase their work to not only the public, but also their peers.
It also gives everyone the opportunity to network, build clientele and showcase the professionalism of the industry.
And within this industry there are many identities who work tirelessly to bring such events to life, people like Kevin Mack, the man behind the Rites of Passage Tattoo Festival, which has been running in Melbourne for five years now.
Originally the festival was built on a core value of ‘everyone is welcome and no egos or attitude’, just an event with the passion for tattoos being the common denominator.
And since that first inaugural event, the festival has grown so much in size and popularity that they’re now looking to have an event in Sydney this month.
But beforehand, it was time for the Melbourne show, which once again didn’t disappoint.
