A sweet garage built Panhead - with a twist of Cream…
Feature by KNACKERS
Remember the old classic rock song ‘Strange Brew’? Well that’s the theme behind this incredibly amazing garage built Panhead. If you’re not familiar with the band Cream, there beginnings date back to the pointy end of the 60’s and into the early 70’s, eventually breaking up to many a fans disappointment only after three years.
Although in that small amount of time they really captured the mood of the times and were a trend setting outfit whose songs have stood the test of time to this day.
The song itself ‘Strange Brew’ was written and sung by ‘Cream’ and featured guitar legend Eric Clapton along with Jack Bruce and another icon Ginger Baker on the drums. And just like the band’s music it’s the theme of this well designed and meticulously built bike.
It’s the brainchild of Daniel and is the fourth street custom he’s built up for himself, and possibly his best creation yet. Like all his previous builds, from the get go it was built to be ridden, and also like before there were no short cuts in the quality and finish throughout the whole bike, which is a good thing considering he’s now adopted his own name – DSD Cycles (DSDC), and why not, especially if you’re designing and producing your own parts.
