Day in Bathurst
Every year, the streets of Bathurst come alive with the rumble of motorcycles arriving into town to check out the Bathurst Bike Show. Thousands of visitors from the local area, the central west and Sydney pour into Russell Street to experience a day of fun, admiration, and great atmosphere.
This year, the weather could not have been more perfect, offering a warm day and a dry ride in for those traveling from out of town. The show is presented by Brotherhood CMC, in association with the B.A.D. Hobos SMC and with support of Bathurst Regional Council. It’s a great partnership that has worked well for many years. It’s a day that is on the annual calendar for many lifestyle bikers, with many taking advantage of the event for a weekend getaway. There are a lot of great riding roads around the central west too, and there’s always plenty to see and do around Bathurst.
Merchandise Heaven
Trade stalls and food trucks lined the street, offering everything from motorcycle gear, raffles and jewellery, to sizzling street food.
Major sponsor, Victory Lane Motorcycles, had a stand offering merchandise and some new bikes on display from their showroom. It’s truly a family-friendly event and the kids enjoyed trike rides, snow cones, and treats from the lolly shops.

Rocking The Town
The sound of live, blues-inspired rock and roll filled the air, thanks to ‘The Guardian Redeemers’. Playing from the back of a truck, they really added to the atmosphere of the day with some killer tunes. Frontman, Steve Stokes, is a member of Brotherhood CMC and looks forward to playing the show every year, and as he said, “Starting with ‘Warning’, then ‘Chuck’s Wagon’ and now ‘The Guardian Redeemers’, playing Rockin’ Blues for Brotherhood CMC has been a blast.
We go as far back as the Brown’s Farm rallies, Silverwater shows and now Bathurst Bike Show, and knowing we are part of something positive has always been the reason we love turning up and turning it up loud!”

Show and Shine
The highlight for many was the Show and Shine, a showcase of craftsmanship and creativity. With over 100 entries, like always the range of bikes was impressive, from cruisers to classics, off-road, sports bikes, trikes, and anything else with two wheels.
The judges faced a tough challenge, as the quality of the entries was exceptional. The Best Bike in Show was taken by Broden Sutherland for his 2019 Harley Davidson Fat Boy, and the People’s Choice award went to Korrey Davis for his eye-catching 2024 Harley Davidson Lowrider ST.

Mayor’s Welcome
Bathurst Regional Council mayor, Robert Taylor, himself a motorcycle enthusiast, welcomed the crowd to Bathurst. He spoke of the long connection between Bathurst and motorcycling, a history that dates back over 100 years. The first race run on the Mount Panorama circuit was a motorcycle race, the 1938 Junior Tourist Trophy.
Vic from Brotherhood CMC took to the stage to share his testimony about his faith in God, a reminder of the Brotherhood’s purpose and foundation. The show was founded by the late Greg “Hirsty” Hirst, and his legacy and passion continues through both new and old members of Brotherhood CMC.
Once again, Church Street was closed off for dedicated motorcycle parking, and it was worth a stroll to see some other bikes that probably should have been entries in the show and shine.

Police Presence
Despite the overwhelming positivity of the day, the presence of the NSW Police Force Raptor Squad was a first for the event. And the rumour that the organisers had asked Raptor to attend because of their concerns about 1%ers at the show is false.
Everyone is welcome at the event, and it was a shame to have some guests asked to leave the show. While the presence of the police was a talking point, it did little to dampen the spirits of those in attendance. The vibe remained relaxed and welcoming, a testament to the inclusive and family- friendly atmosphere that the Bathurst Bike Show is known for.

Celebration of Motorcycles
As the event continues to grow year after year, it cements itself as a vital fixture in Bathurst’s cultural calendar. It’s more than just a motorcycle show —it’s a celebration of riding, a place to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and share a love for life on two wheels.
The Bathurst Bike Show is not just for riders; it’s for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, music, community, and a day of genuine, unfiltered fun. It is clear that this event is here to stay —bigger, better, and louder every year!
