It was back in 2018 when we saw the huge overhaul of the Softail range, and this year, H-D have done it again. With more power, new riding modes and upgraded suspension, it really is a Softail Smorgasbord, with each model appealing to different riders in their own way. This year, all six models do away with the 107ci and 114ci displacements and now come in three tailored variants of the 117ci engine, with each providing more power and torque.

Icarus’s Keith and Kromworks’ Andi Pratama: Crafting a Truly Unique Custom Bike

It was approximately three years ago whilst searching the internet for custom bikes that Keith came across a futuristic custom bike built in Indonesia by Andi Pratama, who owns a company called Kromworks. What intrigued Keith was the bike had disc wheels which is quite unusual for motorcycles, and the frame had been built around a Royal Enfield 500cc Bullet Engine, and by coincidence Keith had the exact same engine sitting in his workshop which was surplus to his requirements.

It was almost a year to the day I was down in Victoria testing the Super Meteor 650, well now it was time to tear around Melbourne and the surrounding countryside on Royal Enfield’s fourth model to join their 650-twin platform, the Shotgun 650.
